Michael "Mike" Campbell

Michael “Mike” Campbell, age 60, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015. He is survived by his children, Matthew “Matt” Campbell, Gainesville, GA, Kathryn “Katie” Campbell, Gainesville, GA and Kendyl Campbell, Flowery Branch, GA; father, Tony Campbell, Bluffton, SC; mother, Libby Campbell, Gainesville, GA; and brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Jeanie Campbell, Gainesville, GA. Mr. Campbell was born May 29, 1955 in Anderson, SC. He was a 1973 graduate of Sequoyah High School in Atlanta, GA and a 1980 graduate of the University of Georgia where he received his Master’s Degree. He was retired from the State of Georgia as a Bioterrorism Coordinator, a professor at the University of Georgia, and was also a psychologist. He was an outdoorsman who loved hiking, camping, the beach and gardening. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 28, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until time of service.
