Betty Jane Ligon

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mrs. Betty Jane Ligon, age 87 of Cleveland. Mrs. Ligon passed away Monday, August 24, 2015.

Born in St. Louis, MO on November 10,1927, Betty was the daughter of  the late Urban Jaremski and Marie Coughlin Jaremski. She was a homemaker and had lived in White County since the early 1990’s. Prior to moving White County she lived in St. Petersburg, FL.

Survivors include her husband, William Ligon of Cleveland; daughter and son in law , Kathy and Doug Heykens, Cleveland and daughter Diane Shanebeck also  of Cleveland. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Will be cremated and no public services are planned. If you so desire, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl, 17, Chicago, IL 60601-7633 www.alz.org
