Nellie Jo Moore

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Nellie Jo Moore, age 84, of Jefferson, GA, who passed away on July 23, 2015. Mrs. Moore was born in Cedartown, GA, a daughter to the late Walter McKinley Venable and the late Evie Dee Watson Venable. After moving to Atlanta in the 1950's Mrs. Moore worked for 25 plus years in the blue printing industry, and later in Antiques after retiring. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband, William Stockwell Moore.

Survivors include her daughter and son in law, Cheryl and Eddie Johnson of Jefferson, grandson, Sean Johnson of Jefferson; niece, Corlis and Roy Miller, McDonough, GA, great nephews, Keith and Michelle Atkins of Dacula, Darren and Pam Miller, of McDonough, Great Nieces, Lynne and Josh Everett, Bowdon, GA and Tiffney and Ricky Flowers of McDonough.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 2:00pm in the White Plains Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Page officiating.
