Sherri Arlene Kinsler

Sherri Arlene Kinsler, age 55, of Dahlonega, GA, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2015 at her home following a lengthy illness.

Sherri was born June 27, 1960 in Syracuse, NY. She lived most of her life in Dahlonega and was a member of Dahlonega Baptist Church.

She was the daughter of the late Teddy Eugene Kinsler and Lucille Smith Kinsler and was also preceded in death by brothers, Ronald and Galen Kinsler; and sister, Cynthia Kinsler.

Sherri is survived by her children, Joseph Travon Bowens and Ashley Leanne Bowens, both of Gainesville, GA; grandchildren, Joseph Travon Bowens Jr, Dante Carter, Darrius Bailey, and Khalil Travion Henry, all of Gainesville, GA; sisters, Karen Fleming, Dahlonega, GA and Donna Robinson, Fayetteville, GA. A number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Sherri are scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Dahlonega Baptist Church.

Rev. Bill Hutcheson and Rev. Danny Park will officiate.

Interment will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 from 5 PM until 9 PM.
