Funeral services for Cheryl Ann Arnold Patton, age 64, of Toccoa will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 3:00 PM from the River Point Community Church. Pastor Kevin Mangum and Pastor Michael Welborn will officiate with interment to follow the service in Hills Crossing Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Patton passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Greensboro, North Carolina on March 2, 1951, Mrs. Patton was the daughter of the late John Arnold and Agnes Gilbert Arnold. Mrs. Patton was retired from GEM Industries and she was a member of River Point Community Church. In addition to her father, Mrs. Patton is preceded in death by son Chad Ryan Bowman.
Survivors include her husband Hoyt William “Billy” Patton of Habersham County, mother Agnes Gilbert Arnold of Clarkesville, daughters and sons in law Tamala and Tim Bowen of Hayesville, North Carolina and Holly and Jonathan Haynes of Lula, son and daughter in law William Seth and Keylia Patton of Habersham County, brother and sister in law Brian and Kathi Arnold of Lilburn, sister Bonnie Bohannon of Martin, grandchildren Ian Lingerfelt, Nick Bowman, Sawyer Lingerfelt, Lilli Haynes, Maddi Haynes, Carson Patton, and Judson Patton, and life-long best friend Sherry DeCesare.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 from 2- 4 PM and from 6 - 8 PM.
