Lillian Beatrice Hudgins

Miss Lillian Beatrice Hudgins, age 90 of Gainesville, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at the Bell Minor Nursing Home following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Alta Vista Cemetery.  Reverend Jimmy Hudson will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

Miss Hudgins was born February 21, 1925 in Gainesville, GA to the late Elmer H. Hudgins and Myrtice Brownlow Hudgins.  She worked at Gainesville Mill for 30 years, then retired from Harris Calorific and was a member of Gainesville Free Methodist Church.  Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Mildred Rich, Geneva Lowe and Louise Hudgins, and her two brothers, Romeo Hudgins and John Hudgins. 

Miss Hudgins is survived by 11 nieces and nephews.  Also surviving are great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
