Carl F. Arthurs

Mr. Carl Frederick Arthurs, age 82, a long time resident of Hoschton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Sunday, August 16, 2015.

Funeral Services will be 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 19, 2015 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with entombment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery.  Dr. Reginald Screen will officiate.  The family will receive friends 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Arthurs was born April 25, 1933 to the late Jack & Helen Dillemuth Arthurs in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  Carl was a veteran of the Korean War and spent many years as a Radar Engineer for the Federal Aviation Administration.  His greatest Joys in life were spending time with his loving wife and family, and tending to his cherished canine companions.

Mr. Arthurs is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Joan; sons & daughters-in-law, Dan & Terry Arthurs and Ron & Ruth Arthurs; daughter & son-in-law, Donna & Dayne Shannon; grandchildren, Nathan Shannon, Cris Arthurs, Matthew Arthurs, Erin Arthurs and Damon Arthurs; and brother, Don Arthurs.  Carl was well loved by his family and will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
