Bessie Lord

Bessie Lord age 87 of Danielsville passed away Friday August 14, 2015 at her residence.
Mrs. Lord was born January 6, 1928 in Royston to the late Charles and Mattie Coker Dove. She was retired from Davis Brothers Cafeteria and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Wayne Dove, Buck Dove, JT Dove, Erving Dove & Roy Dove.
Survivors include husband, James Lord of Danielsville, Sons and daughters in law, Bobby & Vicki Hart of Danielsville, Randy & Zena Hart of Commerce, sister, Edna Hattaway of Hull, brother, Shorty Dove of Royston 3 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren. Special friends, Steve & Cheryl Gunnin, Linda Hendricks & Barbara Dove.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday August 18, 2015 at the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce with Rev. Jerry Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel (M) Baptist Church Cemetery, Danielsville.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday evening at the Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce.
