Elizabeth Coleman Brown Griswold

Mrs. Elizabeth Coleman Brown Griswold, age 88 of Gainesville, formerly of Roswell, Georgia passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

            Graveside services are scheduled for Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Old Roswell Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday August 15, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

            Mrs. Griswold was born on March 07, 1927 in Roswell, Georgia to the late Hugh Coleman and Margie Hamrick Coleman. She was a member of Roswell Methodist Church and was retired from the IRS where she worked as a Key Punch Operator. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Emory “Buck” Brown, brother, Billy Coleman and sister, Jeanne Trogdon.

            She is survived by her daughter, Patty Brown Taylor of Lula, son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Wendy Brown of Gainesville, grandchildren, Beth Annibale, Amanda Brown and Joshua Brown, and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives survive.
