Carolyn A. Sheppard

Carolyn A. Sheppard, age 69 of Hoschton, GA died Wednesday, August 12, 2015 after an extended illness. Mrs. Sheppard has been cremated and a Catholic Mass will be held Monday, August 17, 2015 at 2:30 PM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Flowery Branch, GA. Fr. Luis Alvarez will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 16, 2015 from 1-4 and 6-8 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to any of the following organizations: The American Cancer Society, The United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation (UMDF), or Autism Speaks.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, John Sheppard, Hoschton, GA. Daughter Nadine Mancuso and husband, Phil, Buford, GA. Son, Captain Scott Dugan and wife, Beth, Coronado, CA. Grandchildren, Keating, Jameson, Callahan and Jason. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Samantha Mancuso. Carolyn was born in Flushing, NY and had lived in the Atlanta area the past 23 years. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church, Winder, GA.
