Robert John Garrett, Age 74, of Dacula, Georgia (formerly of Jackson County, Georgia), passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2015 to his favorite duck hunting spot, where his dog, Drake, is waiting on him. He is survived by his family consisting of Carol, wife of 54 years; sons Andrew, Michael, Matthew and daughter, Shannon Lambert, including their much loved spouses and especially his ten grandchildren. Bob loved Jack Daniel Whiskey and M&M candies. Bob was the oldest of 8 children (consisting of 6 brothers and a sister). Born in California, he worked for grocery stores from the age of thirteen. He joined the sales team at Ralston Purina Pet Food Company in 1967. Moved to St. Louis, Missouri in 1970 and then onto Atlanta in 1972. Bob enjoyed music and singing. He sang in choirs and as a soloist at church, weddings, funerals, and even at the Atlanta Hawks and Atlanta Braves games. A memorial service will be at a later date.
