Rhett Lamar Conner

Rhett Lamar Conner, 74, of Gainesville passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at his residence following an extended illness.

                Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Maxie Ladd will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10a.m. to 11a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

                Mr. Conner was born on May 7, 1941 in Gainesville to the late Clifton H. and Jennie Mae Duvall Conner. He graduated from Gainesville High School and retired from insurance sales. He was of Baptist faith.

                Mr. Conner is survived by his brother, Douglas Conner of Gwinnett; sister, Lynn Kirkland of Florida; nephews, Kenny and Steve Webster of Florida and Patrick Conner of Athens; niece, Melissa Conner of Sacramento and special friends, Ricky and Shirley Hazlerigs.
