Dorothy Dollar Jones

Dorothy Dollar Jones, age 86, of Buford, GA passed away on Friday, August 7, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-seven years, Harmon Jones; parents, Bud and Dessie Munday Dollar; daughters, Barbara Dukes and Judith Stanford. She is survived by her children, Pamela and Calvin Jackson, Buford, GA, Tammie and Barry Gravitt, Buford, GA and Gary Dollar, Buford, GA; grandchildren, Jeff Jackson, Carmen Jackson Dubois, Brandy Gravitt Perry and Brandon Gravitt; six great grandchildren, Chelsea Dollar, Madison Dollar, Ashton Jackson, Riley Dubois, Braden Dollar and Lilliana Perry; special sister-in-law, Katherine Thrasher Dollar; special friend, Larry Johnson; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Jones was born May 18, 1929 in Buford, GA where she was a life-long resident. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 10, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Parker officiating. Interment will follow in Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, August 9, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
