Charles M. (Joe) Randall, Sr

Charles M. (Joe) Randall, Sr., age 82, of Buford, GA passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2015.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Watts Randall and Madge Smith Randall; brother, Dr. Hugh W. Randall; first wife, Shirley; and second wife, Delores.  He is survived by his daughter, Laura Randall, Buford, GA; son, Charles “Chuck” Randall, Buford, GA; grandson, Simon Randall; and several nieces, cousins and many friends.  Mr. Randall was born July 29, 1933 in Dallas, GA.  He was a graduate of Cedartown High School and attended the University of Georgia where he was a member of the ATO fraternity.  He also attended the University of West Georgia where he played football.  He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, having served in the Korean War in England where he made life-long friends.  He was retired, having worked as a real estate broker for thirty-five years.  He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter, fisherman, and a true athlete.  Mr. Randall was a loving father, a good friend, always having a great sense of humor to brighten your day.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Ferguson officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until time of service.
