Jimmy L. Meeks

Mr. Jimmy L. Meeks, age 61 of Gainesville, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Cancer Treatment Center of Georgia following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, August 7, 2015 at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow at Clemons Chapel Cemetery.  Reverend Jeff Gailey and Reverend Danny Herron will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Meeks was born June 1, 1954 in Milledgeville, Georgia to Clyde Meeks and Annie Will Miller Meeks.  He was retired from Central State Business Forms and was a member of Clermont Pentecostal Lighthouse Church.  Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Meeks.

Mr. Meeks is survived by his wife, Janice Bone Meeks of Gainesville, children, Jimmy L. Jr. & Caroline Meeks of Commerce and Jennifer Meeks of Gainesville, brother, James Meeks of Milledgeville, Georgia, sister & brother-in-law, Belinda & Key Christensen of Milledgeville, Georgia and 4 grandchildren, Kayla, Breanna, William and Ali.
