Funeral services are scheduled for Monday August 3, 2015 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Ward's Funeral Home for Horace Eugene Gee, Sr, 84, of Gainesville. Rev. Sven Mossinger and Rev. Marshall Dale will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Gee passed away August 1, 2015.
A native of Jackson County, Mr. Gee was the son of the late Wiley “Doc” & Eva Mayo Gee . He was retired from the Service Station Business and Black Book Company. Mr. Gee was a Korean War Veteran , Member of the V.F.W. And Member of Pilgrim Baptist Church and had attended Lebanon United Methodist Campmetting for a number of years . He was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn Faye Gee, brother, George Gee , grandson Justin Gee and a daughter-in-law Twylita Gee.
Survivors include sons and daughters in laws, Horace E. Gee, Jr., Gainesville, Teddy and Tina Gee, Jefferson, Jeffrey and Kristy Gee, Athens, Chris Gee, Gainesville; daughter and son in law, Deborah and Donell Sealey, Commerce; brothers, Billy Gee, Wiley Gee, Lamar Gee and Randall Gee, all of Gainesville; sisters, Ann Jones, Gainesville, Jenny Gee, Oakwood, Bobbie Brewster, Flowery Branch and Terra Helton, Oakwood; seven grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
