Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Clozelle Wright Wilkins, 83 of Jefferson, Georgia, who passed away on Tuesday July 28, 2015. Mrs. Wilkins was born in Jefferson, Georgia, a daughter to the late Ed and Etta Lovell Wright. Mrs. Wilkins was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jefferson and retired from the Jackson Electric Membership Corporation. Mrs. Wilkins was a homemaker who enjoyed working in her yard, gardening, and was a pianist. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wilkins is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ottis “Bob” Wilkins, sisters, Nettie Mayfield and Pauline Stover.
Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Bobby and Sharon Wilkins, grandsons and their wives, Casey and Mallory Wilkins, Corey and Christina Wilkins, great granddaughter, Morgan Wilkins all of Jefferson and several nieces and nephews also survive.
The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Shelton officiating. The burial will follow in the Oconee Baptist Church Cemetery with Casey Wilkins, Corey Wilkins, Sandy Mayfield, David Mayfield, Mike Stover and Dwayne Wilkins honored as pallbearers. The visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 6-8 pm at Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1684 S.
