Caryl White Maisel, 69, of Dawsonville, GA passed away on July 28, 2015. Born in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Stamford White and Virginia Gluck.
Caryl, also known as Mimi and Mema Caryl to her grandchildren, loved her family more than anything. She was always there to lend a helping hand, provide a hug or deliver something fresh-cooked from her kitchen. She was a mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister and dear friend. Caryl loved so many things but none more than spending time with her family, and no matter how many times a day or week that you would speak to her, she would never forget to say “I love you.”
Caryl is survived by her oldest son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Kimbrel Arculeo of Alpharetta, GA; her youngest son and daughter-in-law, Lloyd and Stephanie Johnson of Dawsonville, GA; sisters, Virginia Arnon of Seattle, WA and Ruth Allen of Portland, OR; and her cherished grandchildren, Ben and Emily Arculeo of Alphareta, GA and Reese, Karys and Landon Johnson of Dawsonville, GA.
A celebration of Caryl’s life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2015 in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home. Public viewing is open immediately preceding the service from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. that same day at the funeral home.
