David Jeffery Evans

      Mr. David Jeffery Evans, age 52 of Oakwood, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2015 at his residence following an extended illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Wahoo Baptist Church Cemetery.  Reverend David Bailey and Dr. Mike Reynolds will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

            Mr. Evans was born November 1, 1962 in Gainesville, Georgia to Donald D. Evans and Sylvia Smith Evans Vickers.  He was disabled and was a member of Wahoo Baptist Church. 

            Mr. Evans is survived by his mother & step-father, Sylvia Vickers & Jerry Griffin of Oakwood, father, Donald Evans of Spartenburg, South Carolina, daughter, Crystal Evans of Cumming, Michael Evans of Cumming, brother, Scott Vickers of Franklin County, special niece, Faith Vickers of Franklin County and special aunts, Hazel Love of Gainesville and Mary Young of Murrayville.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.
