Waymon Eugene Gaines

Mr. Waymon Eugene Gaines, age 60 of Jefferson died Sunday, July 19, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Gaines was born in Anderson, SC to the late, Hubert Gaines and Genell Fitzgerald Kesler. Mr. Gaines worked at Wayne Poultry.

Mr. Gaines is survived by his wife, Glenda Nixon of Jefferson; son, Daniel Gaines of Athens; granddaughter, Shae; brothers, Tommy Joe Gaines of Stephens, GA, Hubert Lonnie Gaines, Jr. of TN, and Thomas Martin Kesler of Nicholson; sisters, Mary Nell Ivie of Covington, Emma Louise Martin of Dahlonega, and Eva Marie Humphries of Nicholson.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 22 at 11:00 AM from Antioch United Methodist Church with Rev. Rick Lewis officiating with the interment following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday night from 6-8 PM.
