Mattie Nell Crider Bennett

Mattie Nell Crider Bennett, age 92, of Buford, GA passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-three years, Louis Bennett; parents, Tim and Ila Williams Crider; sisters, Linnie Stanfill and Edna Yeager; brothers, Aaron, Hollis, Horace, Roscoe, Clone, Herman, and Tom Crider.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Wyatt Wilson, Buford, GA; grandchildren, Christy and David Coffey Jr., Flowery Branch, GA, and John and Tonya Wilson, Manchester, TN; great grandchildren, Will Coffey and Samuel Wilson; brothers, Leeman and Pat Crider, Marietta, GA, and Billy and Dianne Crider, Marietta, GA; brother-in-law, Eugene Yeager, Newnan, GA; sister-in-law, Dale Crider, Lavinia, TN; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; special caregiver, Carrie Hardee, Buford, GA; and special extended family, Melton and Ann Thompson, Dacula, GA. Mrs. Bennett was born January 28, 1923 in Milan, TN.

She was a homemaker and a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Buford, GA.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Bennett and Rev. Farrell Presley officiating. Interment will follow at Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, July 20, 2015 from 2:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gentiva Hospice in memory of Nell Bennett.
