Jerry Talmadge Hardy

Mr. Jerry Talmadge Hardy, age 73 of Commerce died Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Northridge Medical Center.  Mr. Hardy was born in Homer to the late, Berry Talmadge and Ethel Williams Hardy.  Mr. Hardy was the Senior Vice President of First Commerce Bank, member of Madison Street Baptist Church, Commerce Lions Club, and Banks-East Jackson Gideons.

 Mr. Hardy is survived by his wife, Sharon Brown Hardy of Commerce; sons, Rodney Miles Hardy (Lynn) of Winston-Salem, NC and J. Kevin Hardy (Wendy) of Commerce; sister, June Westbrook of Commerce; grandchildren, Jason Hardy, Jennifer and Cameron Harris, Mara and  Caleb Mitchell, Perry and Liam Hardy.

Funeral service will be held Monday, July 20 at 3 PM from Madison Street Baptist Church with Rev. David Harbin, Rev. Larry Montgomery, and Rev. Alton Wilson officiating with the interment following at Jackson Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2-5 PM.
