Marc S. Edwards, age 47, of Buford, GA passed away on Monday, July 13, 2015. He was preceded in death by his mother, Paula Vineyard Edwards. He is survived by his father, Don and Gail Edwards, Buford, GA; daughter, Bailey Catherine Edwards, Broken Arrow, OK; sister, Jennifer Leigh and Randy Pierce, Conway, AR; nephews, Joshua Pierce, Jadon Pierce, and Jaren Pierce; step-grandparents, John R. and Clarice Presley, Peachtree City, GA; uncles, Raymond Eddie Presley, Jasper, GA, Gary Vineyard, McDonough, GA; aunt, Betsy Armistead, Gastonia, NC; first cousins, Lynn Vineyard, Atlanta, GA, Steve Vineyard, Conyers, GA, and Brad Thomas, Gastonia, NC; and a special person in his life, Alina Kerr. Mr. Edwards was born April 6, 1968 in Decatur, GA. He graduated from Baker High School in Mobile, AL in 1986. He was employed in Sales at Mystery Valley Golf Course in Conyers, GA. He loved college football, and was an avid Falcons and Atlanta Braves fan. Funeral service will be Friday, July 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. David Fry officiating. Interment will follow at Hillandale Memorial Gardens in Lithonia, GA. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
