Patsy J. Lokant, 78, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed into the arms of her loving Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, July 12, 2015.
Born in Elgin, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Roy Hahn and Mildred Effie Foster Hahn. She was the wife of Robert for 49 years before he passed away, and they lived the military life for over 20 years. She served alongside her husband in the capacity of a military wife, homemaker, mother, and friend. She also worked outside the home for many years. They were a great team. They loved each other immensely and loved serving their Lord even more.
She was a member of Lanier Christian Church in Gainesville, Georgia and attended faithfully until she was no longer able. She then attended Northlake Baptist Church in Gainesville with her daughter. Prior to that she and her husband were members of First Christian Church of Seminole, Florida, where she served faithfully in many positions, most recently being Missions Director for many years. She had a great heart for many mission’s causes.
She is survived by her two children, Letsa (Terry) Parker; Robert (Lori) Lokant; “adopted” children, Glenn (Kim) Tabor; Linnie Camp, and many more; grandchildren, Rachael (Scott) Vermeulen; Justin (Shanta) Hulett; Shannon (Jason) Tabor-Kull; Sydney Lokant and “adopted” grandchildren, Carlette Pressley, Megan and Tessa Seabolt; four great-grandchildren, Connor Hulett, KC Parker, Sienna Vermeulen, Jacob Kull and “adopted” great-grandchildren, Jada Seabolt, Micah, Shia, Alaynah and Damon Gaddis; she loved them all dearly. Sister, Roberta (Bob) Bennett, and numerous nieces, nephew and extended family members.
A Celebration of Life services will be held on 4:00 pm Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel in Gainesville, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at a later date in Kissimmee, Florida.
