Newt David “Roach” Ledford, Jr

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Newt David “Roach” Ledford, Jr., age 63 of Talmo, Georgia who entered into rest Thursday, July 9, 2015.  Mr. Ledford was born in Talmo, Georgia the son of the late Newt “Shorty” Ledford Sr. and the late Mary Helen Cruce Ledford and was a heavy equipment operator. 

Mr. Ledford is survived by two daughters; Jessica king of Commerce, Amy Fritz of South Carolina, son; James Ledford of Canton, sisters; Mary Ann Hogan and Thelma Pierce of Maysville, brother; Marvin Ledford of Maysville, five grandchildren, one great grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from the Talmo Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the graveside prior to the service.
