John Wayne “Johnson” Sertain

Mr. John Wayne “Johnson” Sertain age 57 of 41 Cottonwood Court, Toccoa passed away Thursday July 9, 2015 at Stephens County Hospital.

A son of the late John Lewis and Geraldine Kinsey Sertain, he was born May 10, 1958 in Tampa Florida but lived most of his life in Toccoa. He was a auto mechanic and retired, due to ill health. He attended Eastanollee Baptist Church.

He is survived by his fiancé Tracey Palmer of Toccoa, a daughter Misty Rose Winters of Toccoa, a step-daughter Dusty Wynn of Cleveland, GA, 3 step-sons, Mitchell Aranove, Jr. of Toccoa, Richard Umberhandt of North Carolina, and David Umberhandt of Toccoa, 2 sisters, Teresa & Fred Turpin and Janice & Jason Smith all of Toccoa, a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday, July11, 2015 from 6 until 8 PM.  A graveside service will be held at the Toccoa City Cemetery at a later date.
