Cooper Reaves Mitchell

Cooper Reaves Mitchell, 15, of Dawsonville passed away Friday July 3, 2015.

Born November 3, 1999, he was a lifelong resident of Dawson County.  Cooper was a sophomore at Dawson County High School where he was on the wrestling team.  He was very active in Young Life, was employed at Cold Creek Farm and attended Free Chapel in Gainesville.  He loved taking care of animals and enjoyed the outdoors, his family and friends.  Cooper was preceded in death by his grandparents, Chris Pilcher and Susan Binkney.

Surviving are his parents, John and Christy Mitchell; brothers, Hunter Mitchell, Turner Mitchell; sister Zoe Mitchell, all of Dawsonville; grandparents, Carol Pilcher, Rutledge, Glenn Edward and Iris Mitchell, Hampton, Ronald and Alex Binkney, St. Simons Island; aunts and uncles, Kim and Dennis Sitzmann, Madison, Lynn Leighton, Flowery Branch, Daniel and Suzanne Binkney, Newburyport, MA; and a number of cousins and other relatives.

Memorial services will be held Saturday July 11, 2015 at 1 o’clock at Christ Fellowship Church.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 12 noon until 1 o’clock at Christ Fellowship.
