Kenneth Leo Stroud

Mr. Kenneth Leo Stroud, age 68 of 171 Hammond Drive, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at his residence.

A son of the late Leo and Gwinell Watkins Stroud, he was born June 26, 1947 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life.  He was retired from Stephens County Road Department with 30 years of service and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Irene Hunnicutt Vaughn; daughter, Wanda Stroud of Toccoa; step-daughters, Vickey Vaughn, Rhonda Vaughn, Tracy Vaughn and Renee Vaughn; step-son, Randy Vaughn; grandchild, Casey Murdock; number of step-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Joann Stroud of Toccoa; two sisters, Jo Ann Ritchie and Charlotte Smith, both of Toccoa; a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 8, 4 O’clock PM in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Chad Smith officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Bill Pulliam, Gary Knight, Brandon Stroud, Marvin Bowen, Michael Stroud and David Bellamy.

The family will be at the home on Hammond Drive and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2 PM until the service time.

Interment will follow in Sunshine United Methodist Church Cemetery with Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Kenneth Leo Stroud.
