Geraldine Ester Bruce Adams

Mrs. Geraldine Esther Bruce Adams, age 84 of Dahlonega, passed away on July 6, 2015 following an extended illness.  Mrs. Adams was a former Valedictorian of Dawson County High School and former teacher at Matt School in Forsyth County.  Geraldine managed the Holly Theater for many years as well as being a substitute teacher and teacher’s aid at Lumpkin County High School.  She loved babysitting many children as well as her own family.

Mrs. Adams is preceded in death by her husband, H.B. Adams.

Mrs. Adams is survived by her children, Charlotte and Tony Ashe of Dahlonega, Robby and Kathy Adams of Dahlonega, Hardy and Linda Adams of Dahlonega, Debbie and Danny Brewster of Tennessee; also survived are 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and numerous other relatives.

Funeral service for Mrs. Adams will be held on Wednesday July 8th at the Chapel of Dahlonega Funeral Home at 11am.  Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Dahlonega.  Rev. Dalton DeLozier will officiate.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 7th, from 6 to 9pm at the funeral home.
