Vera Kaye Loggins Head

Vera Kaye Loggins Head, age 63, of Gainesville, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Kathy’s Personal Care Home in Cleveland following an extended illness.

Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 11:30 am at Blackshear Place Baptist Church with Reverend Dave Channell officiating.

Mrs. Head was born March 27, 1952 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Raymond Malone Loggins, Sr. and Oma Hunt Loggins. She was a graduate of South Hall High School and worked many years at Makita Tools. Vera was a member of Blackshear Place Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tommy Lamar Head and her brother, Dennis C. Loggins.

Mrs. Head is survived by her son, Casey Lamar Head and his children, Logan Casey Head and Cassie Lenora Head of Gainesville; son, Timothy Shane Head and his children, Zachary Robert Head and Skylar Emily Head of Gainesville; brother, Raymond Malone Loggins, Jr. of Gainesville; sister-in-law, Pamela Loggins of Gainesville; sister, Mary Melanie Wetherington of Gainesville; 2 nephews, Danny Stowers and Taylor Loggins; 3 nieces, Helen Warr, Mindy Loggins and Savana Loggins.
