Helen Lanette Looney

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Helen Lanette Looney, age 63, of Tignall, who passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2015. Mrs. Looney was born in Jefferson, Georgia, a daughter to the late John T. and Estelle Beck Roberts. Mrs. Looney, along with her husband Rex, operated a farm in Tignall, Georgia.

Survivors include her husband, Rex. B. Looney, of Tignall; sons, Daniel Wofford of Baldwin, Jason S. Wofford of Winder, 3 sisters, 1 brother, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren also survive.

The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday morning at 10:00am in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Hunter and Rev. Vaughn Howington Jr. officiating. The burial will follow in the Jackson Memorial Park with Rod Hill, Bob Rickey, Justin David, Jeff Lord, Scott Nichols, Steve Looney and Tim Nicholson honored as pallbearers. The visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00am Tuesday morning at the funeral home, prior to the service.
