Martha Ann Peck Brooks

Mrs. Martha Ann Peck Brooks age 83 of Gainesville passed away on Friday July 03, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday July 07, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at First Church of the Nazarene with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church on Tuesday from 1:30 until 2:00 p.m. Reverend Gary Huff will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday July 06, 2015 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Brooks was born on January 09, 1932 in Flowery Branch, Ga to the late William Osco Peck and Flois Belle Tanner Peck. She was owner and operator of a tax preparation service and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Grady Brooks.           

Mrs. Brooks is survived by her husband of 63 years, Grady Eugene “Gene” Brooks Sr. of Gainesville, daughter, Wanda Finney of Gainesville, son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Susan Brooks of Oakwood, son, Randall Brooks of Gainesville, grand-sons, Jeff Brooks, Donald Finney, Kevin Finney, Randy Brooks and Zachary Brooks, grand-daughters, Karen Brooks Brown and Courtney Brooks, 3 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
