Doris Crump Loudermilk

LOUDERMILK, Doris Crump- died July 1, 2015 in Lavonia, Georgia from a battle with cancer.  Born November 10. 1933 in Franklin County, Georgia, she lived her life as a devoted wife and loving mother.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Hoyt and  Nora Crump, her brothers, Freeman and Talmadge Crump and her beloved husband, William Loudermilk Sr.  She is survived by her sister, Lynda Hodges, children W.E. “Skip” Loudermilk Jr of Galveston, TX, Keith (Risa) Loudermilk of Denver,CO, Robert (Wanda) Loudermilk of Lavonia, GA, Paul (Patricia) Loudermilk of San Antonio, TX and grandchildren Daniel, Michael, Rachel, William, Thomas, Camila, Paula, and Larry along with great grandchildren Elijah, Luke, and Joshua.  She devoted her life to family and community service volunteering in hospitals, at church, food banks, and was active in a multitude of her sons’ youth activities.  In later years she enjoyed the Red Hat Society and traveling the world with her husband.  She will be remembered by family and friends for her laughter and love of life. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday July 8, 2015 at St Matthias Episcopal Church at 4 P.M. with the Very Reverend Mary Demmler officiating and a reception following.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks any donations be made American Cancer Society donate.cancer.org, St Matthias Episcopal Church 995 East Tugalo St, Toccoa, GA  30577, AMEDISYS Hospice 53 Rock Dr, Toccoa, GA 30577
