Mrs. Clydie Belle Dockery, age 82, of Dahlonega, GA passed away Monday, June 29, 2015 at her home following a short illness.
Clydie Belle was born in Lumpkin County, GA June 14, 1933 and she lived most of her life in Lumpkin County. She was a homemaker and member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Lumpkin County.
She was the daughter of the late Lewis and Ilar Garrett Howard.
Mrs. Dockery is survived by her husband of 63 years, Homer Dockery, Dahlonega, GA; daughters and son-in-law, Elaine and Donnie Tripp, McDonald, TN, and Linda Cantrell, Dahlonega, GA; grandchildren, Scott Cantrell, Bryan and Brittney Cantrell, April and Chris Hubbard; great-grandchildren, Hannah Coleman, Christen Hubbard, and Brooklyn Cantrell.
A number of other loved ones survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Dockery are scheduled for 2 PM Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Lumpkin County.
Rev. Jack Pilcher and Rev. Matthew Pruitt will officiate.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Tuesday June 30, 2015 from 2 PM until 9 PM and again on Wednesday until service time.
