Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of

Mr. Swayne Crawford Martin, age 72, passed away on Thursday, June 25, at his home in Cleveland. He was born in Banks County to Hoyt and Lillie Bell Martin. He was the third of five children, Jean, Polly, Margaret, and Paul. He married and had had three children, Ann, Greg, and Kenneth.

He is survived by his wife, Lillie Martin (Cleveland), and two children, Ann (Cleveland) and Kenneth (Athens) and had two grandchildren that he raised, John and Jessica (both of Cleveland). His is also survived by his grandchildren, Greg (Cleveland), Kenneth (Killeen, Texas), Judith Ann (Dover, Delaware), Cindy (Dover, Delaware), Luna (Athens), and Eva (Athens). He had two great-grandchildren, Levi and Lee (both of Cleveland).

There will be visitation at the Martin residence at 339 Shadow Mountain Lane in Cleveland on Saturday from 3-7 p.m. There will also be visitation at the funeral home for 30 minutes prior to the memorial service which will be held Sunday, June 28th at 3 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home in Cleveland. Rev. Joey Pritchett will officiate. Terry Chambers will also speak.
