Lee Clara Gunter Smith

Lee Clara Gunter Smith, 80, of Flowery Branch passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at home surrounded by her family.         

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Joe Thomas and Reverend Carroll Coley will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 26, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Smith was born on April 22, 1935 in Cumming, GA. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dilmus Jolly Smith; brothers, John Gunter, Herbert Gunter and Earl Gunter; sisters, Edna Holland, Mildred Gunter, Sue Herrington and Beth Kieth.              

Mrs. Smith is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Brian Smith of Flowery Branch; sister, Ruby Mauldin of Buford; brother and sister-in-law, Junior and Ruth Gunter of Oakwood; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
