Blondine Wheeler Whitmore Tomlin, age 86, of Demorest, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015.
Born on October 18, 1928, in Clarkesville, Georgia, She was a daughter of the late David Charles and Cora Lee Waldrep Wheeler. She attended Demorest Church of God and was retired from Carwood Manufacturing with 30 years of service. Mrs. Tomlin enjoyed taking care of her family and others in need.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husbands, Alvin Whitmore and Levi Tomlin; son, Jerry Rogers; daughter, Sandra Jean Kinsey; brothers, David Charles Wheeler, Jr. and Paul William Wheeler, Sr.
Survivors include son and fiancée, Charles “Chuck” Whitmore and Pam Collins both of Demorest; brothers, Douglas J. Wheeler, Willie D. “Bill” Wheeler and Randall D. “Randy” Wheeler all of Demorest; sisters, Linda Wheeler Sanders of Mt. Airy, Rosa Lee Whitworth of Fairview Community, Nellaree Ellison (William H.) of Clarkesville, Dot Hill (Frank L.) of Maryland and Andrea Catlett of Demorest; sister-in-law, Dorothy Wheeler of Oakwood; grandchildren, Amanda and Ashley Whitmore both of North Carolina, Sondra Reane Kinsey, Cleveland and Jerry Lee Kinsey of Demorest, four great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial graveside services are 10 am Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Yonah Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
