Lavone “Polly” Seabolt

Mrs. Lavone “Polly” Seabolt age 78 of Dawsonville passed away on June 18, 2015 following an extended illness.  Polly will be remembered as being an amazing cook, loving to clean and spending time in her yard. She played the roll of caretaker, served at Free Chapel and loved her animals.  She will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Seabolt is preceded in death by her husband J.S. “Smokey” Seabolt, her parents Idell and Fred Evans, Brothers David Evans and Kenneth Evans, and brother in law Kenneth Seabolt.

Polly is survived by her children Shirley (Larry) Odom of Dahlonega, Lamar (Paige) Reeves of Montana, and Steven Seabolt of Dawsonville, step children Donald (Irene) Reeves of Dawsonville and Ronald Reeves of Dawsonville; sister Dorothy (Phil) Kinsey of Clermont, GA; sister in law Shirley (Freddy) Welch of Dahlonega, sister in law Carol (Michael) Anderson of Dahlonega, and sister in law Ann Seabolt of Dahlonega; grandchildren Matthew (Sheena) Odom of Cameron, NC, Emily (Eric) Timms of Murrayville, GA, Sheyenne Seabolt of Dawsonville, GA; great grandchildren Jackson and Abigail Odom, Taylan Timms, Teegan Timms, and Trennen Timms.  Numerous other nieces, nephews, and family members also survive.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday June 23rd, 2015 at 11am.  Family will receive friends on Monday June 22nd, 2015 from 4pm until 9pm.
