Blanche Spivey Tallent

Services for Blanche Spivey Tallent, age 86 of Clarkesville will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM from the Hills Crossing Baptist Church.   Rev. Walter Singletary will officiate with interment to follow the service in the church cemetery. 

Mrs. Tallent passed away June 17, 2015 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center 

Born in Habersham County on April 9, 1929, Mrs. Tallent was the daughter of the late Rennie and Charlotte McEntire Spivey.  Mrs. Tallent was a homemaker and a member of Hills Crossing Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents, Mrs. Tallent is preceded in death by her Husband Carl Tallent and sister Lounell Anderson. 

Survivors include daughter and son in law, Judy and Tom Harwell of Gainesville, sons and daughters in laws, Jimmy & Jeanne Tallent of Blairsville and Sammy & Lynn Tallent of Clarkesville. grandchildren & their spouses, Jamie & Kenitra Tallent, Jana and  Danny Hemphill, Mandy and Andy Wheeler, Kellie and T J Wilson, Great Grandchildren, Kanon, Kaston, Trenli, Tayli, McKenzie, Carlie, sisters Willene Wood, and Brenda Thurmond both of Clarkesville, as well as  a number of nieces and  nephews. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 19th from 5 – 8 PM.
