Edward Wilder

Obituary Date: Wednesday, June 17, 2015

Edward Wilder passed from this life into the Presence of his Lord and Savior on June 17th, 2015. Though his passing leaves a great void in the lives of those who knew and loved him. Ed showed us how to live and love, and because of his life, the world is a better place.

He is survived by his cherished son and daughter, Eric Todd Wilder and Betsy Kam Wilder Kiser. Three beautiful and loving grandchildren, Jeffery Scott Kiser 17, Madi Grace Kiser 14 and Jessi Wider Kiser 9. A sister Anita Bannister of Rome, GA and several nieces and nephews also of Rome Ga.

Ed was a long time bus driver for the Hall County School system and also drove the tennis team. He enjoyed his work because the children loved him. Ed belonged to The First United Methodist church on Thompson Bridge Road. There he grew in faith and spirit and made friends who brought him great joy.

Ed was born on April, 21, 1943 to the late Sarah Margaret Packer and Edward E. Wilder Sr. His love and devotion to his Lord and his family shaped his life and provided a beacon of guidance and joy.

The Memorial Service will be held at the First United Methodist Church on Thompson Bridge Road Saturday June 20th at 10:00am. All family and friends are invited.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the First United Methodist Church on Thompson Bridge Road.
