Retha Caroline Potts

            Mrs. Retha Caroline Potts, age 79 of Gainesville, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Willard Fuller and Reverend Ken Anderson will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Friday, June 19, 2015 from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 9 pm at the funeral home.

            Mrs. Potts was born March 17, 1936 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Paul Poole and Nezzie Greenway Poole.  She was retired from Siemens Manufacturing and was a member of Morningside Baptist Church.  Retha was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William Guy Potts.

            Mrs. Potts is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Lee & Cindi Potts of Murrayville, daughter, Lisa Stewart of Gainesville, brother & sister-in-law, Jackie & Laverne Poole of Oakwood, sister, Mary Seabolt of Gainesville, grandchildren, Jason Stewart, Stephanie Stewart, Courtnie Dacus and Christien Colbaugh, great-grandchildren, Ciera Nall, Michael Nall, McKenzie Dacus, Shelby Colbaugh, Lydia Stewart, Kaden Stewart, Sydney Stewart and Corbin Stewart, numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved cat, Tiny.
