Sharon Lynn Turner

Sharon Lynn Turner, 67, of Ball Ground, GA died at home on June 17, 2015 surrounded by her family.  Born in Richmond, IN, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Clara Stevens.

Sharon loved her kids, grands and great-grands.  She was merciful and forgiving and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Frank Turner; daughters, Lisa (Greg) Randolph of Dallas, GA, Angie (Jeff) Cargle of Canton, GA and Nichole Kendall of Ball Ground, GA; stepdaughter, Natasha Turner of Ball Ground, GA; stepson, Michael (Al Rowe) Turner of Griffin, GA; much-loved grandchildren, Matthew, Morgan, Jessica, Alexis and Cullen and great-grandchildren, Justin and Kaylee; brother, Bob (Maggie) Stevens of Bremerton, WA; sisters, Jane Abernathy of Winter Springs, FL and Kathy Howard of Jasper, GA; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 19, 2015 in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell, GA.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 18 from 5:00 – 9:00 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Sharon’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) or a charity of your choice.
