Ronnie Gene Hudgins

Ronnie Gene Hudgins, 67, of Gainesville passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.           

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Jason Buffington and Reverend Willard Fuller will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.           

Mr. Hudgins was born on October 1, 1947 in Gainesville to the late Raymond William and Lizzie Mae Fuller Hudgins. He was employed with General Motors for 20 years and was a member of Fair View Baptist Church. Ronnie was a loving husband, father and Pa-Pa.

                Mr. Hudgins is survived by his wife of 48 years, Frances Worley Hudgins of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Brian Buffington of Gainesville; son, Shane Hudgins of Gainesville; grandsons, Hunter and Holt Buffington; sisters and brothers-in-law, Pat and Jerry Smith of Cleveland; Carol and Ray Buffington of Gillsville; Mildred and Chuck Brown of Clermont; brothers and sisters-in-law, Raymond and Jane Hudgins of Clarkesville, Jimmy and Barbara Hudgins of Flowery Branch, Larry and Carol Hudgins of Oakwood.
