Ellen Stephens Moore

Ellen “Mawmaw” Stephens Moore, age 77, of Buford, GA passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2015. She was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Stephens; parents, Frank and Irene Warbington; and sisters, Helen Wheeler and Vivan Martin. She is survived by her children, Karen and Danny Wigley, Buford, GA, Kenny and Dede Stephens, Flowery Branch, GA, Scott Stephens, Duluth, GA, and Tim Stephens, Buford, GA; fourteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Moore was born February 8, 1938 in Duluth, GA. She graduated from Duluth High School in 1957. She retired as owner of Stephens Café, also known as Ellen’s Country Seat Café in Buford. She was a member of the Buford Church of God. Funeral service is planned for Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Lamar Hansard and Rev. Joey Grizzle officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA.
