It is with great sadness and disbelief that we announce the death of Ann Marie Hagan Bellinger. Ann, or Annie, as she we called by those who loved her, came into the world on May 7, 1972, in Atlanta, GA. She died suddenly on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 due to complications of peritonitis caused by a ruptured ulcer. Though Annie's life was far too short, it was full. Though her time on earth is finished, her legacy will live on and on. There are so many words that describe Annie, but her husband, Tim, succinctly described her as…unforgettable.
She was survived by her husband SSG Timothy Bellinger, her four children, Ashton, Brooke, Beau, and John. Her parents, David and Betty Cavendar; her three brothers, Danny Loudermilk (Jennifer), David Loudermilk (Jennifer) and Eric Cavendar (Stephanie). She is also survived by her ½ brother, Lee Shirley and her ½ sister, Lenora Shirley-Wood, as well as her grandparents, Fred & Bettie Hagan and her mother & father in law, Bonnie and Gary Short.
Annie left numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, friends, and loved ones. She was adored by everyone who knew her, was affectionately called mama by many Soldiers of the Georgia Army National Guard, called friend and protector and problem solver by many of the Guard wives…Annie was just the one everyone called. The love she held for her family was unmatched and there are no words to express the depth of loss the family, the local community and the military community.
