Graveside Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday June 15, 2015 at Alta Vista Cemetery for Alma Louella Turner age 91 of Gainesville. The Rev. Brian Malcolm will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Ms. Turner passed away Saturday June 13, 2015.
Ms. Turner was born in Cincinnati, Ohio but had lived most of her life in Georgia. She was the daughter of the late George H. Turner and Ramie M. Eldridge Turner. She retired from Warren Featherbone and was of the baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, William Turner, LC (Lawrence Curtis) Turner, Iona Nix, Kermit Turner, Jessie Turner, Ronnie Turner and step-daughter, Shirley Payne.
Surivors include, Sisters, Gladys Turner, Helen O'Kelley, Ellen Beatrice Bernier, brother and sister-in-law, Vernon and Joyce Turner, sister-in-law, Girlie Turner Anderson, and a number of nieces and nephews.
