Brian Parks

Brian Parks, 46, of Batesville, GA passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief battle with cancer.  He is preceded in death by his father, Dr. Richard Parks, DVM and his step-father, Wallace White.

Born on October 1, 1969, in Atlanta, GA, Brian lived most of his life in north Georgia where he was the owner and operator of All Welding and Forge in Cleveland, GA.  Attending Lanier Technical Institute and John C. Campbell Folk School, Brian was an extremely talented Blacksmith and Welder, creating unique, quality custom metal fabrications designed to meet the needs of the customers he loved.  He enjoyed fishing and being close to the water where he could appreciate nature.   Brian loved life and those around him, including his beloved dogs Isabelle and Harvey.

Brian is survived by his wife Amy Dooner of Batesville; mother Chareen Parks White of Shelbyville, TN; brother and sister-in-law Tim and Lisa Parks of Murrayville; daughter and son-in-law Melissa and Gary Aaron of Clermont; son Ross Parks of Clermont; grandchildren Lexie and James Aaron of Clermont; nieces and nephews Aubrey Parks of Dawsonville, Morgan and Brandon Williams of Murrayville; god child Decker Burnett, Clarkesville and long-time friend, supporter and extended family members Devin and Crista White of Gainesville.

Visitation with the family will be held at Little and Davenport Funeral Home, Friday, June 12, 2015 from 4pm-7pm and a memorial service is scheduled at Lake Burton on Saturday, Saturday, June 13, 2015 (time and location TBD).
