Eloise Bennett Mason

Eloise Bennett Mason, 85 of Gainesville died Thursday June 11, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born in Forsyth County on April 13, 1930, she had lived most of her life in Hall County. She was the daughter of the late Jewell and Vie Bennett. Mrs. Mason was a homemaker, a loving wife mother, grandmother and friend. She had also worked at J.C. Penney for a number of years. Mrs. Mason was a member of the Cross Roads Baptist Church in Forsyth County.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Marlyn Mason; brothers, Cleon Bennett, Cloys Bennett, Harley Bennett, Woodfin Bennett and Troy Bennett.

Mrs. Mason is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and David Murphy; son, Tim Mason; son and daughter-in-law; Ben and Laurie Mason all of Gainesville; grandchildren, Julie Murphy, Jennifer Murphy and Ann Murphy all of Mississippi, Mason Murphy, Stephen Mason, Ashley Skinner and husband Landon, and

Great-grandsons, Taylor and Greyson Skinner all of Gainesville.
Brother and sister n law, Junior and Patsy Bennett of Dawsonville; special friends, Ann and Royce Deaton of Gainesville. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday June 14, 2015 in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Gerald Blackburn and Rev. Brody Hughes will officiate. Interment will follow in the Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday June 13, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
