Billy Lee Major

Mr. Billy Lee Major, age 66, of Gainesville, GA passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in Colorado.

He was born January 10, 1949 and raised in Gainesville, GA, but had spent the past three years with his sister in Colorado.

Billy was the son of the late Homer Lawrence and Fay Tullis Major, and was also preceded in death by his brothers, Horace M. Major, James L. Major, and Herman L. Major.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Cathy Major, Dawsonville, GA; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Frances and Jacky Nolan of Colorado, and Louise and Jimmy Garner, Mableton, GA.

A memorial service for Mr. Major is scheduled for 3 PM Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home in Gainesville, GA.

Rev. James B. Hatcher and Rev. Lewis P. Lord will officiate.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 PM until 3 PM on Sunday, June 14, 2015.
