Betty Sue McDonald Carpenter

Memorial services for Betty Sue McDonald Carpenter age 68, of Clayton, will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at 6:00 PM, from the residence of Paul McDonald at 77 Browning Road, Sylva, North Carolina.   

Mrs. Carpenter passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015, following a brief illness. 

Born July 10, 1946, in Waynesville, North Carolina, Mrs. Carpenter was the daughter of the late Leslie and Velda Haney McDonald.  Mrs. Carpenter was a homemaker. 

Mrs. Carpenter is survived by daughter Susan Carpenter Simpson of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; son Phillip Carpenter of Clayton, Georgia; brothers Paul McDonald of Sylva, North Carolina, Gene McDonald of Franklin, North Carolina, Gary McDonald of Yadkinville, North Carolina; grandchildren Josh Carpenter, Logan Berry and Landon Berry.
